IPL 2020 – Rishabh Pant’s injury deeper, may be out of many matches
Delhi Capitals are not taking the name of the difficulties. The veteran Indian players of his team are constantly getting injured. After Ishant Sharma and Amit Mishra were ruled out of the entire Hotstar IPL season, the injury to Rishabh Pant is now being told even deeper. According to the news, he does not have a hamstring problem but is a Grade 1 Tier and due to this he may be out of many matches.
Rishabh Pant was not included in the playing eleven in the match against Mumbai Indians. Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer said that Pant has been out for a week. However, according to the news that is coming out from the sources, they may be out of many matches.
Speaking to ANI, a Delhi Capitals source said on condition of anonymity,
Rishabh Pant has a grade one tier and not a strain in his muscles. He is now under the supervision of doctors and it is expected that he will be fit as soon as possible.
Rishabh Pant’s failure to balance Delhi Capitals balance
In the match against Mumbai Indians, Alex Carey was included as the wicketkeeper-batsman in place of injured Rishabh Pant. Carrie had a chance to play her first match this season. His inclusion in the team led to Shimron Hetmyer being excluded from the squad, as he needed an overseas slot. The shortage of Pant and Hetmyer was clearly missed by Delhi Capitals as the team could not score much faster in the last over.
Today the Delhi Capitals face the Rajasthan Royals team. In such a situation, it is to be seen with which combination they come out in this match. The Delhi Capitals team is definitely going to miss Rishabh Pant and will have to focus on their batting in the middle order.
